Bournemouth 0-Manchester City 1
Manchester City faced Bournemouth on Saturday as they looked to go top of the Premier League.
A win for City would see them climb two points above Liverpool who play Everton in Sunday’s late kick-off.
City’s performance was one of complete dominance with Bournemouth failing to register a single shot on target in the full 90 minutes.
Despite their dominance, City only came away with a 1-0 win thanks to a 55th minute Riyad Mahrez strike.

Gundogan on his Man City future
After the win over Eddie Howe’s side, Ilkay Gundogan took several questions about his Man City future.
The German is out of contract in 2020 and has yet to open negotiations over a new deal.
However, from the comments he made post-Bournemouth, it does look like Gundogan wants to remain in Manchester.
Speaking to Goal’s Same Lee, Gundogan stated:
“I’m very happy here, I just think that these kind of things… especially as I’m not the youngest any more, just need sometimes a little bit of time, you know?
“The club doesn’t rush me, I don’t rush myself, so I have still more than one year to go so I try to see it relaxed and then we will see.”
“I think in terms of playing football, in terms of enjoying the game, at the moment in Europe there is not really a better place than here.” As quoted by Goal.
