Idrissa Gueye vs Huddersfield
According to the Liverpool Echo on Tuesday morning, Idrissa Gueye will be in the Everton XI against Huddersfield Town in the Premier League tonight.
Will Marco Silva’s job be on the line if Everton lose to the Terriers?
Everton’s season is basically over in January following the club’s 3-2 FA Cup defeat away at Millwall.
Huddersfield have their own problems after their split with manager David Wagner. They are bottom of the Premier League and staring relegation in the face.
The Terriers only have 11 points on the board after 23 games. Huddersfield have only won two league matches all season.
If that wasn’t bad enough, Huddersfield have 10 defeats and a draw heading into the Everton match.

The 29-year-old Senegalese midfielder is under contract at Everton until 2022.
And according to widespread reports, Everton have no intention of selling Gueye against their wishes.
Accordingly, Everton have rejected a reported 21.5 million pound offer from PSG for Gueye.
Everton reiterate stance of last week to PSG that Idrissa Gueye not for sale. French side had offered £21.5m for the midfielder. Bid rejected.

Will Idrissa Gueye leave Everton?
The Liverpool Echo have looked into the wider situation regarding Gueye.
Can Everton manage to fend off PSG in the long run?
The local paper believe that Everton are ready to play hardball over their midfielder:
PSG’s offer fell significantly short of Everton’s £35m valuation of a player who has been ever present since his £7.6m move from Aston Villa in 2016.
Marco Silva made it clear at yesterday’s press conference that the Blues would resist all attempts by PSG to prise the player away from Goodison. And Gueye’s impassioned plea has not changed their thinking.
