All bets are off?
Paris Saint Germain owner Nasser Al-Khelaifi has given a huge update on the reports that claim Neymar could leave for Real Madrid.
The Brazilian only joined the French side in a record-smashing deal in the summer and has been performing admirably in Ligue 1.
Though, troubles off the pitch have certainly not helped the player adapt to life in a new country and that has caused some reported unrest.
First came the penalty problems with Edinson Cavani when the pair had a falling out over set pieces but that eventually blew over.
Then came reported issues with manager Unai Emery and that the two didn’t exactly see eye to eye at the club and that was causing problems.
That was quickly dismissed by the pair and then began the Real Madrid rumours which suggest the player could betray his former club.
Having moved from Barcelona, the wounds are still visible at the Camp Nou and it would tip fans over the edge if Neymar joined Real Madrid.
Thankfully for Barcelona fans PSG’s president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has ruled out any sale to Real Madrid.
Asked on his thoughts over the rumours, Al-Khelaifi was very stern in his response.
The Paris boss claimed it was ‘impossible’ for Neymar to leave for the Bernabeu.
Well, that’s that then.

Messi admits he is missing Neymar
It’s been a tough time for Lionel Messi after possibly his closest friend left the Camp Nou.
While that has not reflected on the pitch, the Argentine posted a video this week explaining just how much he misses the player.
The pair were showing off their secret Santa presents that they had gifted each other when Messi sent his heartfelt message to the Brazilian.
