Huge Liverpool boost: Mo Salah trains ahead of Man City (Video)

Footage of Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah in training ahead of his side’s Champions League quarter-final return clash with Manchester City has emerged online this evening.

Matchup

The two clubs are set to go head to head at the Etihad tomorrow evening, after a blistering opening half-hour from the Reds at Anfield last week saw Jurgen Klopp’s men emerge with a 3-0 victory.

Crocked

Mohamed Salah was at the heart of things for Liverpool throughout their first-leg victory, opening the scoring after 12 minutes and picking up the assist for Sadio Mane for his side’s 3rd.

However, in a hugely worrying sight for fans of the Merseysiders shortly after half-time, the Egyptian was forced off with a groin injury, which also kept Salah out of action for Liverpool’s derby clash with Everton on Saturday afternoon.

Boost

The former Roma man’s status for tomorrow night’s return clash with Manchester City had remained relatively unclear before today, with Jurgen Klopp having even revealed during a press conference this afternoon that he was still unsure regarding whether or not Salah would feature at the Etihad.

But, in the most telltale sign yet that the 25-year-old will indeed be fit to play tomorrow, footage has been posted online this evening of Salah in training with the rest of the Liverpool squad:
