Jurgen Klopp celebrates Liverpool win at West Ham

Huge injury boost for Liverpool ahead of Bournemouth clash

Injury boost

Liverpool have been handed a big boost this morning as Jurgen Klopp confirmed one star player is set to return against Bournemouth.

That player is English midfielder Adam Lallana who impressed a lot before getting injured at the back end of pre-season.

Lallana fell to injury in the final of the Audi Cup against Atletico Madrid and has yet to feature for Liverpool this season.

That came as a huge blow to both the player and the club, who were expecting big things from him having impressed in pre-season.

Though, it was not to be and he has had to sit on the sidelines for the first half of the 2017/18 season.

Now, Jurgen Klopp has confirmed a huge boost for the club in the form of Lallana’s return this weekend.

The player is in contention for a starting spot but the German boss has revealed that he will at least make the squad.

“Adam is back and in full and normal training,” Klopp explained in his press conference.

“If nothing changed since yesterday, he will be ready for the squad at least.”

Liverpool fans will now be hoping that the player can recapture the form that he showed towards the back end of last season.

The player really impressed and they could do with some more creativity in the centre of midfield.

Safe to say, if he starts firing on all cylinders, he could be one of the keys for their Champions League hopes.

Philippe Coutinho has again asked Liverpool to leave for Barcelona

While the Lallana news is no doubt a massive boost, there has been some bad news today too.

That news is that Brazilian star has once again asked to leave Liverpool for Barcelona.
