Liverpool & Bayern Munich’s Philippe Coutinho
The effect of Philippe Coutinho’s loan move from Barcelona to Bayern Munich has been assessed in the Mirror on Monday.
According to the red-top, Liverpool could miss out on 23 million pounds after the Brazilian moved to the Bundesliga.
Coutinho left Anfield for the Camp Nou 18 months ago, when Barcelona agreed a £155 million deal with the Reds.
However, while Barcelona reportedly paid Liverpool 105 million pounds up-front for Coutinho, the rest of the payment was conditional on future milestones.
The Mirror explain that Liverpool may now miss out on a large chunk of cash from their Coutinho deal:
Liverpool will miss out on a whopping £23million as a result of Philippe Coutinho joining Bayern Munich on loan from Barcelona.
Liverpool were due an additional £18million when Coutinho played 100 games for Barcelona and £5million if the Catalan club won the Champions League with the Brazilian in the side.
