Chelsea in 2017-18
How will Chelsea line up next season?
The reigning Premier League champions had a slightly slow start in the summer transfer market, but in recent days that’s all-changed.
Antonio Conte has added a couple of significant signings in the last few weeks.
First, French international midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko completed his move from Monaco. The thought of Bakayoko dovetailing with N’Golo Kante in the centre of the park for Chelsea is frightening for opponents!
Secondly, Chelsea have this week wrapped up the signing of Alvaro Morata from Real Madrid as Diego Costa prepare to leave the Blues.
Other players who have arrived at Stamford Bridge this summer are defender Antonio Rudiger, who joined from Roma, while goalie Willy Caballero has moved from Man City.
On Friday, the Times have put on their thinking cap to consider how Conte will line up the Blues come the start of next season.
The broadsheet believe Chelsea will again use a 3-4-3 formation, although their are some significant changes from last season’s line-up.
