Tottenham vs Leicester
Tottenham hosted Leicester on Sunday as they looked to regain some ground on 1st place, Liverpool.
After beating Bournemouth 3-0 on Saturday, Liverpool returned to the top of the Premier League and went eight points clear of 3rd place Spurs.
So, Spurs needed to beat Leicester to reduce the gap and keep their slim title hopes alive.
As for Leicester, they started the day 12th in the league as they went in search of their first win in five games.
Son’s penalty claim
Tottenham would start the game brightly and in the 16th minute had a penalty claim.
The inform Heung-Min Son went down after catching Harry Maguire’s foot.
Spurs were not awarded a penalty and Son was instead shown a yellow card for simulation.
This has sparked a debate online as to if it was a dive/penalty.
While there was some contact, it could also be argued Son initiated said contact.

Did the referee make the right decision to hand a yellow card to Heung-Min Son for simulation?
RT for Yes
FAV for No, it should have been a penalty pic.twitter.com/433ZgctRPw

It’s a harsh yellow for diving. It’s not a penalty either just play on. This is me being impartial
