Heung-Min Son gives fitness update
Heung-Min Son has missed Tottenham’s last two games due to being on international duty with South Korea.
Son was taking part in the Asian games with his side facing Qatar in the quarter-final on Friday.
However, in somewhat of a shock result, Qatar beat South Korea 1-0.
This, of course, means Son can now return to Tottenham.
While Spurs fans will be pleased with this, it is unlikely Son will be fit enough for Spurs next league games vs Watford.
When speaking about his fitness, Son had this to say:
“I wasn’t fully prepared. I felt physically empty. I was losing sleep — I should have looked after my condition better.”
Son could be back for GW24 but don’t expect an immediate return to the starting XI. “I wasn’t fully prepared,” he revealed after #KOR were dumped out of the Asian Cup by Qatar. “I felt physically empty. I was losing sleep — I should have looked after my condition better.” #COYS

As a result, it is likely the attacker will need some rest before returning to Spurs starting line-up.
Tottenham vs Watford
If Son does not feature vs Watford due to fatigue, Spurs will once again be without three of their best attackers.
Both Harry Kane and Dele Alli are out injured and are not expected to return till around March time.
Meaning, Tottenham may once again have to look to Fernando Llorente to lead the line vs Watford.
Spurs head into the Watford game 3rd in the league and four points above 4th place Chelsea.
Watford, on the other hand, are 7th in the league but 10 points away from 6th.
