Jurgen Klopp’s first 38 Liverpool games
Following the 0-0 draw at Anfield on Monday night against Manchester United, Jurgen Klopp has now completed 38 Premier League matches in charge of the Reds.
Klopp agreed a three year deal to become Liverpool manager in October 2015 after Brendan Rodgers was sacked from the Liverpool dugout.
38 EPL games is equivalent to the length of an entire Premier League campaign.
So how has the German done?
A doctored league table
Klopp can be pleased with how his team have performed, as they sit in fifth place in a doctored league table.
Stating the obvious, fifth place does not secure Champions league football.
Interestingly, Tottenham are top of the table in the same period with 75 points.
Spurs last won the Premier Legaue in 1961.
Arsenal, who finished last season in second place, are second in the doctored EPL table, the reigning league champs Leicester are third, while Man City complete the top four.
Note: the table below ignores the promoted & relegated sides.
