‘He doesn’t care’ - Liverpool fans tear one member of Klopp’s squad apart after Man United disasterclass

The Reds have not been shy in making their feelings known...

Those of a Liverpool persuasion have taken to social media in their absolute numbers on Monday night, to take aim at one member of the club’s first-team setup.

The Reds, of course, were back in action a short time ago.

Hopeful of putting an underwhelming opening to the campaign firmly behind them, Jurgen Klopp’s troops made the trip to Old Trafford, eyeing a much-needed three-point haul.

To say that, when all was said and done, such efforts ultimately came up short would be something of an understatement, though.

Another alarming display ultimately culminated in Liverpool being put to the sword by two goals to one.

Jadon Sancho was first on target on the quarter of an hour mark, before Marcus Rashford ensured that there was no way back for the evening’s visitors with a United 2nd early in the 2nd half:

Liverpool, to their credit, did manage to pull one back late on courtesy of Mohamed Salah, but ultimately, it proved too little, too late.

On the back of another disappointing night’s work for their side, leaving them languishing in 16th in the Premier League table, it should therefore come as little surprise to hear of the Liverpool faithful being up in arms online.

A whole host of players have been singled out for deserved criticism owing to their respective performances, amongst them Jordan Henderson, Virgil van Dijk and James Milner.

One member of Klopp’s ranks, however, has been more widely targeted than any other.

The player in question? Trent Alexander-Arnold:
