Pep Guardiola rules out huge move for Chelsea’s Eden Hazard

No move for Hazard

Manchester City are not interested in signing Eden Hazard.

That’s according to Pep Guardiola.

The Man City boss saw his side beaten by Chelsea this weekend. Despite Hazard being one of the best players in the world, it seems Pep won’t try and sign him.

Hazard is currently figuring out his future, with interest from multiple clubs.

However, they’re all abroad, and Pep confirmed City are not in the mix.

Guardiola was asked about the chances of a move.

He played it down.

Standard Sport report he said: “That is not going to happen.

“I am agreeing with him. He said I’m so good and I am agreeing with him.”

A real title race

Last season, City won the title at a canter.

However, this time out things look set to be very different.

The club are being pushed all the way by Liverpool.

Not only that, but City are now in second place after losing to Chelsea.

Liverpool beat Bournemouth 4-0, and while City have a far better goal difference, Jurgen Klopp’s men are a point ahead.

Going into the busy Christmas period, City will hope to have Kevin De Bruyne and Sergio Aguero back.

The pair have been missed during their injury layoffs.

Liverpool aren’t without their own issues.

Joe Gomez has just fractured his leg following a tackle by Ben Mee, and faces six weeks out.

James Milner filled in at right back during the weekend’s game, and with a huge clash against Napoli in the Champions League, Klopp knows he needs his players at their best.
