Eden Hazard told to leave Chelsea to achieve greatness

Hazard should leave

Chelsea could lose Eden Hazard.

That’s according to Mark Schwarzer, who was speaking to Sky Sports.

He said the biggest issue for Chelsea is the fact Real Madrid are the biggest club in the world.

In terms of individual awards, he thinks Hazard would be better off there.

He said:  “To win the Ballon d’Or you not only have to be the best player on the planet throughout the season but also in the most successful team.

“For Hazard to win it at Chelsea they would have to have an amazing season. Which would probably mean Hazard has a phenomenal season. Is it more likely to happen at Real Madrid or Chelsea?

“He has been very honest. He has talked about his love and passion for the club and I admire his honesty. Some people will be a bit upset, but he is talking about Real Madrid. He’s not talking about a direct rival in the Premier League, it’s one of the most successful clubs in the world.”

A great season

Hazard has been enjoying a great season so far.

Chelsea are right up there at the top of the table.

The Blues are level on points with Liverpool and Manchester City.

They’re also flying high in the Europa League.

It could well be the case that Chelsea and Hazard do go on to win the league.
