Guardiola provides Manchester City team news update & offers verdict on Brighton

Brighton vs Manchester City

Brighton and Manchester City will face off in Saturday’s late Premier League kick-off this weekend.

Both sides have enjoyed fine starts to the season, and we should hopefully see an entertaining affair play out at the Amex.

Man City head into the clash sitting 3rd in the Premier League table after winning five, drawing two and losing one of their opening eight league games.

This record sees the Sky Blues sitting two points off table-topping Chelsea, who are in action against Norwich this weekend.

As for Brighton, they start the weekend sat 4th in the division, only two points adrift of their upcoming opponents.

Though they have lost just once this term, the Seagulls are not the highest-scoring side. Brighton have netted just eight in eight and, as a result, have drawn their last three league outings.

Pep Guardiola on Man City team news, Brighton & Steve Bruce

Guardiola labelled Graham Potter’s men ‘exceptional’:

Guardiola then discussed Steve Bruce, who left Newcastle United earlier this week:
