Pep Guardiola is open to coaching in Italy.

The Manchester City boss refused to rule out a possible move, when speaking at the Festival dello Sport.

Sky Sports report he was asked about managing in Serie A, and said: “A bench in Italy? Why not.

“I would never have said that I would go to Germany and that I would learn German. Here you eat well.

“Defending well is a talent and you are masters. Life is this, we win and lose, but I am convinced that in Italy there are very good players and they can do very well.

“I am convinced that in Italy there are the players to start winning again.

Guardiola has already won the title with Man City.

However, there’s far more for him to do.

Not only are City looking at retaining the title this season, they also want to win the Champions League.

Guardiola has noted that he thinks his side are one of the favourites.

However, he added that there are a lot of other good sides in the competition this season.
