Manchester United are once again being linked with Antoine Griezmann, and it seems that the player could be willing to leave Atletico Madrid, where he has looked increasingly unhappy this season.
Atleti could well be set to miss out on the Champions League, with their group stage results lacking at best, and it seems that Griezmann could look to leave the club – but he does have a huge decision to make if he does want to leave for Manchester United this summer.
The Express report Forlan said: “He’s a good player. He would be a good fit for every club.
“United are now getting better and better. They are doing really well in the Premier League.
“It’s difficult. He’s in a good club, a great city like Madrid. I don’t know.
“It would be, if he has an opportunity, a tough decision. But United is a big club as well, so I don’t know, it’s up to him.”
It’s now been reported that United will need to sell before they can buy, and it seems that Jose Mourinho could agree to allowing Marouane Fellaini to leave in an £8 million deal for Besiktas before his contract runs out and he leaves on a free.
Of course, there may also be the chance to buy Gareth Bale, with Real Madrid thought to be willing to sell the injury prone winger, having officially given up on him being any kind of star man for them, given he misses a huge amount of games through injury.
