Everyone saw Granit Xhaka’s reaction after Bournemouth 2 – Arsenal 1 (Video)

Bournemouth 2 – Arsenal 1

Is another full-blown crisis about to erupt at Arsenal?

Arsene Wenger is now on a five match winless run including defeats to Nottingham Forest and Bournemouth.

If this was another top six club, would the manager survive such a terrible spell of form?

In the build up to the game, rumours leaked out Mesut Ozil’s absence through injury while Alexis Sanchez gave the game a swerve as he looks to leave the club.

And yet Arsenal still took the lead in the match. After a goalless first half Alex Iwobi freed Hector Bellerin, and the Spanish full-back scored his second goal in as many games.

But minutes later Bournemouth pulled level through striker Callum Wilson before Jordon Ibe scored a second for the Cherries.

Granit Xhaka’s post match reaction

After the match, Swiss international Granit Xhaka couldn’t move.

The midfielder looked like he was frozen in the middle of the pitch as he stood alone on the turf.

Xhaka looked stunned, shocked and almost fearful of what was coming.

With Alexis Sanchez certain to leave the club in January, how bad will this season get for the Gunners?

For the record, they are still in the Carabao Cup semifinal and the Europa League.
