Man United vs PSG
On February 12 Man United will host PSG in their last-16 Champions League knockout match.
United will travel to the French capital on March 6 for the return leg.
When the draw for the Champions League was made, many thought Man United had pulled the short straw.
PSG topped their group ahead of Liverpool, while the Red Devils were labouring under Jose Mourinho.
However as we approach next week’s match, has the pendulum swung in Man United’s favour?
Edinson Cavani is injured
PSG beat Bordeaux 1-0 on Saturday night in France.
Edinson Cavani was the match winner for PSG scoring a penalty just before the break.
But the evening ended badly for Cavani, who needed to be subbed off with an injury.
According to reports, Cavani picked up a thigh strain in the Bordeaux match.

With just a few days to go until the Man United match, it’s now highly doubtful that Cavani will be involved.
This could be a huge boost for Man Utd 👀

Thomas Meunier is also injured
With 10 minutes remaining in the Bordeaux game, Thomas Tuchel was forced into another change.
Belgian right-back Thomas Meunier was swapped for Colin Dagba.
Meunier called to be taken out of the game following an earlier clash.
Thomas Meunier might also be a doubt for the match vs Manchester United – Belgian requested to be substituted after a clash of heads, indicating he didn’t feel well enough to continue.

Dani Alves in centre-mid
For the record, Dani Alves played centre-mid for PSG in the Bordeaux.
That’s illustrative of the injury problems plaguing PSG right now.
PSG have been dealt a huge blow as Neymar is out for several weeks.
Marco Verratti is also off the pace right now, while Adrien Rabiot has been frozen out.
