Jose Mourinho could be in luck when it comes to Ivan Perisic, with the player sending an almost come and get me plea to the club.
The creative star noted that he needs to test himself in the biggest and best leagues in the world – and he obviously isn’t getting any younger – and added that England and Spain are the two destinations he really wants to play in before he hangs up his boots.
The Mirror report he said: “I would like to test myself in all of the biggest leagues but the question is will I have the time, I am 29 and working to extend my career as long as I can.
“Yes, I’d like to play in England and Spain but I don’t know if there is enough time left.”
One more player
One thing Jose Mourinho has demanded this summer is an influx of signings – and it seems that he’s not getting his wish in terms of the players coming in.
The relationship between Mourinho and Woodward has reportedly broken down to the point where the pair didn’t speak in 17 days before their meeting in the tunnel after the Real Madrid game – and while one more signing is expected to join, Mourinho has made his unhappiness clear.
After finishing so far behind City last season, failing to add much to their squad this season while their top four rivals all make big changes will of course mean United are in peril of sliding even further down the table, and Mourinho knows that.
