Liverpool vs Man City
Man City have four matches remaining this season, Liverpool only have three.
If City win all their matches they’ll be crowned Premier League champions.
If City slip-up, Liverpool can win the title if they win all their remaining fixtures.
This midweek is critical as Man City travel to Old Trafford to face Man United in their game in hand.
Kevin De Bruyne injury update
On Tuesday in the Times, there’s an update in the fitness of Kevin De Bruyne.
De Bruyne is now suffering his third major injury of the season.
Previously, KDB missed two months at the start of the season because of a right knee problem.
In November he was hit with a second injury problem in his left knee which forced him out of action for another six weeks.
The Belgian sustained a hamstring problem in last weekend’s 1-0 league win over Tottenham.
According to the Times, De Bruyne’s season may now be over:
Manchester City fear that Kevin De Bruyne will miss the final four matches of their Premier League title race with Liverpool.
He was ruled out of tomorrow’s Manchester derby at Old Trafford, and now City could also have to play without him against Burnley on Sunday, Leicester City on May 6 and Brighton & Hove Albion on May 12.
If De Bruyne does return this season, it may be in the FA Cup final against Watford.
