Good for Crystal Palace: Man United’s 10 missing players

Crystal Palace vs Man United

Crystal Palace take on Man United at Selhurst Park on Wednesday night in the Premier League.

Are the Eagles already safe from the drop?

Last weekend was huge for Roy Hodgson’s men as they won 4-1 away at Leicester City.

Palace are up to 13th in the table on 30 points, while they are six points clear of the bottom three.

Man United arrive in south London following a 0-0 draw against Liverpool.

Arsenal (53 points) are now above United (52 points) in the race for the top four.

Man United’s 10 missing players

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has confirmed he has major selection problems against Crystal Palace.

Man United’s interim manager could have as many as ten players out of contention for the midweek clash.

After missing the Liverpool game, Anthony Martial (groin) won’t play against Palace.

Ander Herrera, Juan Mata, Jesse Lingard all picked up injuries against the Reds. They are also out of the Eagles match.

Marcus Rashford is rated a big doubt for Wednesday, yet the England striker hasn’t been ruled out.

Elsewhere, Nemanja Matic, Antonio Valencia, Matteo Darmian and Phil Jones are unavailable with varying injuries.

Three kids are called up

To fill the void, Solskjaer is turning to the Man United academy.

Angel Gomes, James Garner and Tahith Chong will all be in the Man United squad for Crystal Palace.

Marcos Rojo could also return at the back for United.
