Giuseppe Rossi’s Manchester United return
Now 31-years-old, Italian striker Giuseppe Rossi is coming back to Manchester United.
According to BBC reporter Simon Stone, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has invited Rossi to train at Old Trafford.
Will Man United sign Rossi during his spell in Manchester? Is there a chance he could play one last game for United?
Simon Stone reports that Rossi is joining Man United to “resurrect his career”, while the striker is rated as a “punt”.
Fans will be eager to hear more details about the reunion.
To be clear, Rossi is a free agent after leaving Genoa.

Giuseppe Rossi’s Manchester United career
Giuseppe Rossi started his career at Manchester United back in 2004.
Rossi, who was born in Teaneck, New Jersey, remained with United until 2007.
However Rossi only made a handful of appearances for Sir Alex Ferguson.
He was farmed out to Newcastle and Parma during his Man United contract.
Rossi eventually left Old Trafford to join Villarreal in 2007.
Giuseppe Rossi’s injuries
Giuseppe Rossi’s career has been blighted by long spells on the sidelines.
The striker had spells at Fiorentina, Levante and Celta Vigo however he was never able to make more than 19 appearances in a season.
Rossi has suffered five serious knee injuries.
Three of those injuries have been anterior cruciate ligaments (ACL) problems.
