Tottenham’s Giovani Lo Celso could be out for a few weeks
Giovani Lo Celso was injured playing for Argentina in a friendly match against Chile last week.
Despite the fact that Lo Celso tried to play down his injury, the Argentine was sent back to Spurs.
Tottenham are yet to post an injury update regarding their summer signing from Real Betis.
However, the Evening Standard’s Dan Kilpatrick believes that Spurs are ‘fearing’ the worst.
Lo Celso likely to miss Crystal Palace & Leicester
On Saturday, Tottenham take on Crystal Palace.
The Evening Standard believe that Lo Celso is out of contention for that match with a groin injury, reporting:
The initial prognosis has left the club concerned that he could be sidelined for several weeks, starting with Saturday’s home match against Crystal Palace.
Working on the assumption that several weeks means at least two weeks, Lo Celso could also miss an away trip to Leicester City on September 21st.

Tottenham’s next six matches
After the Crystal Palace match, Spurs begin their Champions League campaign away at Olympiakos on September 18th.
Then, after Leicester, Spurs travel to Colchester United in the Carabao Cup on the 24th.
Spurs close out September with a home league game against Southampton on the 28th.
October begins with Tottenham vs Bayern Munich in the Champions League on the 1st.
Ryan Sessegnon injury boost
After completing a move from Fulham in the summer, Ryan Sessegnon could soon make his Spurs debut.
Will that happen against Crystal Palace? The Evening Standard report:
Ryan Sessegnon is yet to feature after signing from Fulham on deadline day with a hamstring injury and Tanguy Ndombele has missed the last two matches with a thigh complaint.
Spurs hope to welcome back both players, as well as Juan Foyth and Kyle Walker-Peters after the international break.
