Gary Neville admits he feels sorry for Jose Mourinho at Manchester United

Feeling sorry for the Old Trafford boss

Former Manchester United man Gary Neville has admitted that he feels sorry for Jose Mourinho after recent performances from his side.

The Portuguese boss has struggled to get his side firing this season.

They haven’t won a game in four, with the teams faced being Wolves, Derby, West Ham and Valencia.

That has saw Mourinho’s job come under fire and a poor result against Newcastle this weekend could see even more pressure piled on.

‘I have to say he looks fed up’

Now, Manchester United legend Gary Neville has had his say.

He has explained that Mourinho looks ‘fed up’ and ‘it’s sad to see actually’.

‘I watched the whole press conference and I have to say he looks fed up,’ Neville explained, as quoted by the Daily Mail.

‘Obviously it’s not been a pleasant few weeks but over the last few years on the television here, sometimes you see managers who have those bad results and you can see they are aware of fatigue coming into press conferences.

‘I experienced it at Valencia in those last couple of months and I think Jose Mourinho has had seven matches in the last 20 days, something like that.

‘He does a press conference pre-match and a press conference post-match.

‘That’s 14 times he has got to sit in that room and answer those questions when his team aren’t playing well and his team aren’t getting results.

‘He just looks worn to me this morning looking at that sort of footage.

‘He looks tired and it’s sad to see actually, not great to see.’
