Turkish giants Galatasaray are plotting a January move for Barcelona midfielder Arda Turan.
The 30-year-old has struggled for game time at the Nou Camp and wants regular football.
According to AS, Turan’s agent is not just in contact with Galatasaray, however.
Game time shortage
Arda Turan has really been struggling to get minutes for Barcelona.
The Turkish captain has recently been nursing a back injury.
He made just 14 starts in the league last season.
Turan now believes that he is no longer part of Barcelona’s plans.
He is set to discuss with his agent about leaving the Catalan giants in January.
Galatasaray are hopeful of bringing back their former captain.
Turan departed Istanbul for Atletico Madrid back in 2011 in a deal understood to be worth around £10m.
Should Gala sign Arda Turan, they are expected to tie him down to a contract which would see him remain at the Türk Telekom stadium until the end of his career.
Currently, they are not the only side interested, Turan’s agent is also in contact with a number of other sides regarding a transfer.
Happy at Barca
However, the 30-year-old has admitted that he is happy at the Nou Camp.
Turan’s current deal is due to expire in 2020, which he hopes to see out.
“I am happy in Barca. I have a three-year contract and I am going to stay.
The Catalan giants were reportedly so eager to offload him that they were willing to let him leave for free.”

Biggest mistake Lucescu made was recalling Arda Turan…

I don't want to see Arda Turan anywhere close to the Milli Takim and especially Galatasaray. This guy is a cancer.
