Fulham vs Newcastle betting tips: Premier League match preview & predictions

Fulham vs Newcastle prediction: Fulham 1-1 Newcastle

There’s not too much riding on this one but there is always pride to play for on the final day of the season.

Fulham will be looking to end their Premier League journey on a high note.

Newcastle have only won one of their last ten Premier League away games.

Fulham vs Newcastle: Who will win?

Fulham are marginal favourites to win the match at 6/4 while Newcastle are 19/10. The draw is priced at 13/5.

Newcastle have only scored 14 goals away from home this season. Under 2.5 goals in the match is 11/10.

Fulham vs Newcastle Premier League match preview

Fulham host Newcastle United at Craven Cottage on the final day of the Premier League season.

Newcastle’s three-match unbeaten run came to an end last weekend as they were beaten 2-3 at home to Liverpool. Goals from Christian Atsu and Salomon Rondon twice put Newcastle back on level terms, only for them to concede a late Divock Origi winner.

The result saw Newcastle move down a spot into 14th. The Magpies can finish 13th with a win on Sunday if Bournemouth lose away at Crystal Palace.

Fulham’s run of form has come too late in the season. Scott Parker’s side have won three of their last four, keeping three clean sheets in the process. Fulham were beaten 1-0 away at Wolves last time out which leaves them on 26 points.

Fulham have won six and drawn three of their 18 matches at home this season. It’s their away form that has been particularly costly.

Fulham have already been relegated but will be looking to go out on a high in front of their home fans.

Fulham and Newcastle have met 25 times in the Premier League. Fulham have won 12 and lost nine. Fulham have won eight of their last nine home league meetings with Newcastle, including the last six in a row.

The two sides played out a 0-0 draw when they met at St. James’ Park in the reverse fixture in December.

The Magpies have won their final league match of the season in each of the last four campaigns, scoring 13 goals and conceding just one.
