Fulham are aiming to add yet another top class player to their squad this summer, and are considering a move for Real Madrid player Theo Hernandez.
The defender is set to leave the La Liga side on loan, and it may well be the case that he spends some time on loan in the Premier League, with the London side reportedly willing to pay a 2 million euro fee to keep him on loan, and also pay the player’s wages, something that is a huge incentive for Real Madrid.
The player isn’t set to feature for the La Liga winners this season, but needs to be playing regular football – meaning he will look for a loan, and while Real Sociedad are also in the running for the player, Marca think Fulham’s willingness to pay his wages could push them to the front of the queue.
This summer has been a huge summer for the newly promoted side, with Jean Michaël Seri, Maxime Le Marchand, Fabri and André Schürrle all joining the club, not to mention Alfie Mawson and forward Mitrovic, putting them in a brilliant position in terms of trying to secure their Premier League survival.
They of course returned to the top flight via the Championship play-offs, and are looking to not only secure a second season in the Premier League by staying up this coming one, but also to make their mark on the league – and they’ve certainly done it in the transfer market.
