With France and England going head-to-head in a friendly fixture at the Stade de France this evening, the French supporters have shown their class with a touching tribute to the victims of the recent terror attacks on the UK.
In an incredible show of solidarity to their Three Lions counterparts, followers of Les Bleus joined in with England’s fans to belt out a heartfelt rendition of God Save our Queen, the English national anthem.
The act comes just weeks after 23 adults and children lost their lives in a shocking terrorist attack on the Manchester Arena, with a second attack in London on June 3rd resulting in a further 8 fatalities.
In addition, both sets of fans came together prior to kick-off to take part in an equally-riveting interpretation of Oasis classic ‘Don’t Look back in Anger.’
