A former Watford striker has urged English midfielder Jack Wilshere to leave Arsenal in the next transfer window as he struggles for game time.
The player has been given several chances in the Europa League but is still yet to be given a run of domestic games.
That has lead to some questions over the players future with suggestions he could still leave the club soon with his contract up in the summer.
It could well mean that a move in January is likely so that Arsenal can attempt to bring in some move for his services.
Real Betis have been linked with a shock move for the player and a move abroad looks to be a real possibility in the coming months.
Now, former Watford striker Odion Ighalo has urged the player to leave Arsenal for his chance to impress.
Ighalo left Watford last winter to join the Chinese Super League in a deal worth around £20million.
“For him to get more games and to be ready for the World Cup,” Ighalo told Premier League Daily.
“He has to play more so if he’s still there and he’s not getting the opportunities to play, I’d advise him to leave.”
“He’s a very good player, he can’t be there sitting on the bench. If he cannot play at Arsenal.”
“He can play at any other big team in the Premier League.”
“To compete at the top you have to keep the ball and probably the best (England) midfielder who keeps the ball is Wilshere” – says Giggs pic.twitter.com/ptrahKaUpM

Arsenal looking to sign three Man United stars
Arsene Wenger might actually be willing to let Jack Wilshere leave as he lines up three Man United stars.
The Gunners are looking to make a big swoop for some big players at Old Trafford and one could well take Wilshere’s spot.
