Tottenham 2 – Watford 1
Tottenham returned to winning ways against Watford on Wednesday night at Wembley.
However the manner of Tottenham’s victory was dramatic to say the least.
Spurs fans were fearing the worst when Craig Cathcart fired Watford ahead in the 38th minute from a corner.
However Spurs turned the match with two goals in the final ten minutes of the match.

Fernando Llorente’s epic miss
Llorente is now getting a rare run in the Tottenham team due to injuries.
Harry Kane is sidelined, while Dele Alli is also on the injury table.
While Llorente finished the night on a high against Watford, the Spaniard missed a glorious opportunity earlier in the game.
In the 51st minute, Llorente missed a virtual open goal.
After Ben Foster had parried an initial shot from Llorente, the ball popped back out to the striker in the 6-yard box.
With the goal gaping, Llorente fired his shot over the bar.
Later in the match, Fernando Llorente also failed to score a header.
This chance was more tricky as Watford’s box was incredibly crowded as the Hornets defended their lines.
However Llorente managed to miss the target with a header into the 6-yard box.
