Leicester vs Man City
Can Leicester City knock Man City out of the Carabao Cup?
The two sides face off at the King Power Stadium on Tuesday night for a place in the semi-finals.
Leicester will believe that they can beat the Sky Blues to lift their first trophy since the Premier League in 2015-16.
Man City could rotate their side for the cup tie.
Fernandinho is injured
In Tuesday’s Times, there is a scary line for Man City fans.
At the end of an article previewing tonight’s match, readers are told:
David Silva and Fernandinho are both unavailable for City due to injury.
For the record, the paper fail to state the nature of any injury to the Brazilian enforcer.
Fernandinho played 90 minutes last weekend in the 3-1 Premier League win over Everton.
Should Fernandinho miss out, Ilkay Gundogan is set to start.
Sergio Aguero injury update
Argentine striker Sergio Aguero could make his return to action against Leicester.
Aguero has missed several weeks of action with a groin injury.
Last weekend against Everton, Aguero was named on the Man City bench however he never came onto the pitch.
That’s after Gabriel Jesus broke his Premier League scoring drought with a brace.
Kevin De Bruyne news
Kevin De Bruyne payed the final 15 minutes against Everton last weekend.
The Belgian has since spoken to the press about how his body is holding up this season.
Kevin De Bruyne: “I have no targets. I don't know when I will be back at my best. I just need some game time. I came on and just ran for 20 minutes. Not looking to play a good game, just run. That gives me a good boost physically and lets me get my lungs open for the next game.” pic.twitter.com/07izAlV9Jl
