Fenerbahce flight re-routed
Manchester United host Turkish club Fenerbahce in the Europa League on Thursday night but Robin van Persie & Co had some issues on their flight today.
A bird flew into the plane and smashed the windscreen which caused the pilot to make an emergency landing in Budapest – some 1300 miles away from Manchester airport.
The Fenerbache squad are expected to land in Manchester this afternoon following the unexpected delay.

Manchester United to field weakened side
Having faced Liverpool on Monday night, Jose Mourinho is expected to make wholesale changes to his starting XI for Thursday night’s game.
The Red Devils face Mourinho’s former club Chelsea on Sunday and captain Wayne Rooney could be handed a rare start for the Fenerbahce game.
