Fears Tottenham star was injured vs Burnley

Burnley 0 – Harry Kane 3

Harry Kane put in an incredible performance for Tottenham on Saturday at Burnley.

England’s number one striker scored all three goals for Spurs against high flying Burnley.

Kane opened from the penalty spot after just seven minutes.

After Tottenham missed a bucketload of chances, Kane double his tally in the 69th. A terrific curler from outside the box completed Kane’s hattrick in the 79th.

The win pushed Tottenham into fifth in the Premier League, a point behind Liverpool.

Burnley’s defeat saw the Clarets slip down to seventh in the table.

Is this the beginning of the end for Sean Dyche’s team’s hopes of a European finish this season?

Fears for Tottenham’s Eric Dier

Towards the end of the game at Turf Moor Tottenham’s Eric Dier was subbed out of the match.

Dier was replaced by Erik Lamela after the midfielder went down holding his calf.

After a few moments on the deck, Mauricio Pochettino called for Dier to come out the game.

With the matches coming thick and fast, will Dier line up for Tottenham against Southampton on Tuesday night?

After that Tottenham start 2018 with games against Swansea and West Ham.
