Fantasy Premier League Gameweek 18: Three in, three out

Fantasy Premier League Gameweek 18 kicks off on Friday the 21st of December at 8:00 pm UK time as Liverpool face Wolves.

So, all of your transfers for GW18 need to be done by 7:00 pm UK time on Friday.

But if you are struggling to choose who to sign and who to sell this week, here are some tips.

3 in including Chelsea midfielder

Eden Hazard (11.0)

Eden Hazard is enjoying a superb start to the season under new boss Maurizio Sarri.

With Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud both underperforming as Chelsea’s main striker, Eden Hazard has taken up said role in recent games.

The Belgian started up front as Chelsea beat Man City 2-0, Hazard got two assists.

He would also start up front as Chelsea beat Brighton 2-1, Hazard scored one and assisted one.

Overall this season, Hazard has scored eight and assisted nine in the league for Chelsea, making him the best midfielder on FPL with 116 points.

Raheem Sterling (11.6)

Manchester City host Crystal Palace this game week.

Given Palace’s poor start to the season, it is very likely City will put three or four past them.

As a result, it would be wise to have a City attacker in your side this game week.

Your best choice is likely going to be Raheem Sterling.

Sterling has scored nine and assisted seven for Man City in the league this season and is the third best midfielder on FPL, only four points behind Hazard.

Lukasz Fabianski (4.7)

After a poor start to the season, West Ham are finally coming into their own under Manuel Pellegrini.

The Hammers now sit 9th in the league and have won their last four league games.

One player who has been particularly impressive for West Ham this season is Lukasz Fabianski.

At just 4.7 Fabianski is the perfect budget keeper for any FPL side and after West Ham’s recent good form, Fabianski is now the 4th best keeper on FPL.

3 out including Wolves attacker

Willy Boly (4.6)

While Wolves are enjoying a decent start to the season, they have to face Liverpool this game week.

Liverpool are unbeaten in the league this season and with both Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah on form, it would be wise to sub out your Wolves defenders this week.

In particular, Willy Boly who has not earned anywhere near the number of points as his defensive counterpart, Matt Doherty.

Romelu Lukaku (10.7)

Romelu Lukaku has not had the best start to the season.

But after the Belgian scored two in his last three starts and after Jose Mourinho was sacked, it may have seemed like a good idea to sign Lukaku in case his form improves under a new boss.

However, it has, on Friday, been confirmed that Romelu Lukaku has been on compassionate leave and will miss Man United’s next two fixtures.

Diogo Jota (5.9)

Wolves are currently 7th in the Premier League and on a fine run of form.

One player in particular who has excelled in recent weeks is Diogo Jota.

In his last three league games for Wolves, Jota has scored two and assisted two.

Given his low price tag, many people may have picked him up after his upturn in form.

Unfortunately, Jota is now out with an injury and his return date is not yet known, meaning it would be wise to sell him.
