The Premier League season returns on Friday the 9th of August, and that means one thing, fantasy football is back.
The 2019/20 PL campaign will begin with Liverpool hosting Norwich, with that game kicking off at 8 pm UK time.
So, all of your transfers for game week one need to be sorted by 7 pm UK time.
With that in mind, here are six players you could have in your side this week.
Mohamed Salah (12.5)
The first of these players is a rather obvious choice, in the form of Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah.
While Salah is the most expensive player in FPL, he does justify his price-tag.
The Egyptian has excelled in the two seasons he has enjoyed at Liverpool, topping the FPL midfielder chart in both campaigns.
Last season saw Salah score 22 and assist 12 in the league, and that was the former Roma man coming off the back of a gruelling 2017/18 with Liverpool, and the 2018 World Cup with Egypt.
Liverpool also have a fairly easy opening fixture.
They are at home to newly-promoted Norwich, and while the Canaries did dominate the Championship last season, stepping up to the PL will be a big test.
This is especially true at Anfield, where Liverpool went unbeaten in the league through all of last season.
Harry Kane (11.0)
The second choice is Tottenham forward Harry Kane.
As long as he is fit, Kane is pretty much a nailed-on starter for Spurs, as he is now their only out-and-out first-team striker.
Kane has also been solid in pre-season for Spurs, and looks to be fully fit ahead of the new campaign.
While Kane didn’t have the best 2018/19, he still managed 17 league goals, despite his injury troubles.
The north London club also have a pretty easy opening game this week.
Like Liverpool, they are at home to a newly-promoted side, Aston Villa. While Villa are a decent team, and have made plenty of signings this summer, it is hard to see anything other than a Tottenham win as the outcome.
Kevin De Bruyne (9.5)
Kevin De Bruyne’s 2018/19 was pretty underwhelming.
However, the Belgian had some very bad injury luck throughout the season, which stopped him from really showing his best form.
The 2017/18 season showcased what KDB can do when he is fully fit, and should he recapture that form this year, 9.5m could prove to be a real steal for the midfielder.
Manchester City are away to West Ham this week. While the Hammers have made some top additions recently, City have a habit of dominating West Ham.
The past eight meetings between the sides across all competitions have seen City come away with 8 wins.

Andy Robertson (7.0)
A Liverpool player has already been included in this list.
However, as mentioned above, the Reds are at home to Norwich this week.
Given the fact that Liverpool had the best defence in the PL last term, letting in just 22 goals, it is likely that they will keep a clean sheet at home to a newly-promoted side.
So, you should really have at least one Liverpool defender in your side for this week, and probably much of the season.
Andy Robertson, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Virgil van Dijk are all excellent choices. But you should probably pick one of the full-backs, as they are likely to earn more points from assists.
Callum Wilson (8.0)
Callum Wilson was one of the FPL bargains last year, and he is still fairly low priced this time around at 8.0.
Despite his injury problems, Wilson still netted 14 and assisted 12 in the league for the Cherries last season.
If Wilson can stay fit this time around, he could well hit similar numbers again.
Bournemouth also have a fairly easy set of games to kick off the season.
They are at home to Sheffield United this game week, before travelling to Aston Villa the week after.
Lucas Digne (6.0)
The final player you could look to bring into your side this week is Everton’s Lucas Digne.
Digne is a slightly cheaper option than the likes of VVD and Andy Robertson, but the Frenchman should still get a fair few goals, assists and clean sheets.
Everton have been pretty active in the transfer market this summer and look set for a good season.
The Toffees also have a fairly kind opening run of games.
They face Crystal Palace away this week. Palace were not great at home last season.
Everton then face Watford and Aston Villa in game-weeks two and three.
