Fantasy Premier League 2019/20 Gameweek 4: Three in, three out

Fantasy Premier League Gameweek 4 kicks off on Saturday the 31st of August at 12:30 pm UK time, when Southampton play host to Manchester United.

Gameweek 4 will end on Sunday the 1st of September, with Tottenham traveling to Arsenal in the late PL kick-off.

So, all of your transfers for GW4 need to be done by 11:30 am UK time on Saturday.

But if you are struggling to choose who to sign and who to sell this week, here are some tips.

Three in including Liverpool forward

Mohamed Salah (12.5)

With a decent preseason under his belt, Mohamed Salah has hit the ground running in 2019/20.

The midfielder has already scored three and assisted on in the Premier League this season, including a brace vs Arsenal last weekend.

After such a good start, Salah is second in the FPL midfielder chart with 30 points.

Liverpool are away to Burnley this weekend.

While Burnley have had a solid start to the new campaign, Liverpool have a pretty decent record against the Clarets, losing just one of their last seven meetings across all competitions.

Kevin De Bruyne (9.7)

Kevin De Bruyne is well and truly back to his best this season.

The Belgian looks to be fully fit, after having a torrid time with injuries last campaign.

In Manchester City’s first three league outings, KDB has already bagged himself four assists.

The latest of these came against Bournemouth, and was his 50th Premier League assist.

The Citizens also have a pretty easy game this week.

Pep Guardiola’s side are at home to Brighton, a side who City have beaten in their last five games across all competitions.

De Bruyne is also pretty cheap at 9.7, but his price has already risen by 0.2 this season, so you would probably want to get him before he increases in value any further.

Teemu Pukki (7.0)

Norwich currently have the worst defence in the Premier League, letting in eight goals in three games.

However, while their defence is pretty poor, Teemu Pukki is proving himself to be a solid Premier League striker.

In three games, two of which were against Liverpool and Chelsea, Pukki has already scored five and assisted one this campaign.

This puts Pukki as not only the top striker on FPL, but also as the highest-scoring player in any position.

Pukki, like KDB, is also very popular, with his price having risen a staggering 0.5 already this season.

Norwich are away to West Ham this weekend, a side yet to keep a clean sheet in the PL this term.

Three out including Manchester United midfielder

Josh King (6.4)

Bournemouth had some very solid cheap players on FPL last season, including Josh King, Callum Wilson and Ryan Fraser.

King is the cheapest of the above-mentioned trio this season, and may have seemed like an attractive budget striker option.

However, King has scored just once this season, along with providing zero assists, and his solitary goal came from the spot.

As a result, you may be better served selling King and signing someone like Ashley Barnes.

Antony Martial (7.7)

Anthony Martial began the season as Manchester United’s main striker.

The Frenchman would score in United’s opening two league games this season, and as a 7.7 midfielder, seemed like a decent option.

However, Martial was injured in Man United’s last game vs Crystal Palace.

The Red Devils are facing Southampton this weekend, a game that Martial probably would have done okay in.

However, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has confirmed that Martial will be out this weekend.

Christian Pulisic (7.5)

At 7.5, Christian Pulisic playing as an attacking option could have been a real steal on FPL this season.

So far, though, the former Borussia Dortmund man hasn’t really impressed too much in the league.

The American has started two of Chelsea’s three league games this season, coming off the bench in the remaining tie.

However, Pulisic has yet to score, and picked up just one assist for Chelsea in the PL, amassing a total of eight points.
