Fantasy Premier League 2019/20 Gameweek 12: Three in, three out

Fantasy Premier League Gameweek 12 kicks off on Friday the 8th of November at 8:00 pm UK time, when Norwich play host to Watford.

Gameweek 12 will end on Sunday the 10th of November, with Manchester City traveling to Liverpool.

So, all of your transfers for GW12 need to be done by 7:00 pm UK time on Friday.

But if you are struggling to choose who to sign and who to sell this week, here are some tips.

Three in including Man United attacker

Jamie Vardy (9.4)

Leicester’s transformation under Brendan Rodgers this season has been superb.

The Foxes are up to 3rd in the Premier League, and have won four of their last five.

During Leicester’s upsurge in form, Jamie Vardy has been one of their standout stars.

The ex-England international has scored 10 and assisted two in 11 PL outings so far this campaign, making him not only the top forward, but also the top player overall on FPL as things stand.

Leicester are set to face a struggling Arsenal side this weekend, and Vardy should be amongst the goals again.

Teemu Pukki (6.8)

Teemu Pukki started the 2019/20 campaign in superb form.

The Norwich forward netted five and assisted one in his first three Premier League ties.

However, both Norwich and Pukki’s form has taken a bit of a nosedive in recent weeks.

So, putting him in or keeping him in your side may seem a bit odd.

However, Norwich are at home to Watford this game week.

Despite it being November, the Hornets are yet to earn a single victory in the English top-flight this campaign.

So, it should be the perfect game for Pukki to get his season back on track.

Anthony Martial (7.7)

Manchester United will play host to Brighton in GW12.

United are much better at Old Trafford than away from home so far this season, and should be able to see off Brighton.

And since Anthony Martial has returned from injury, the Frenchman has really helped to liven up United’s attack.

The Frenchman scored vs Norwich in his first PL start following his return to action.

Martial was then amongst the goals earlier this week as United put Partizan to the sword by three goals to nil.

Martial is also fairly cheap at 7.7, and despite playing in a fairly advanced role for United, he is classed as a midfielder on FPL.

This means that you should be getting the goals of an attacker with the points of a midfielder.

Three out including Tottenham attacker

Mohamed Salah (12.3)

Mohamed Salah is currently the most expensive player on FPL.

However, in recent weeks, he hasn’t really lived up to that price-tag.

In his last four PL starts, Salah has scored just one and provided no assists.

And with Liverpool taking on Manchester City this weekend, it is quite hard to see the Egyptian ending his poor form this gameweek.

If you wish to keep a Liverpool player in your side, you would be better served swapping out Salah for Mane.

Mane is currently 0.3 cheaper than Salah, and the top midfielder on FPL.

Harry Kane (10.8)

At 10.8, you would hope that Harry Kane would be scoring every week.

However, the England international hasn’t had the most impressive start to the campaign.

Kane’s most recent form has been particularly concerning, scoring just one and assisting none in three PL ties.

With Jamie Vardy 1.4 cheaper than Kane, and 25 points above him, you should really be looking to swap the Tottenham man for the Leicester forward.

Ederson (6.1)

The final player you should look to move on this week is Ederson.

Ederson picked up a knock in midweek vs Atalanta, and has since been ruled out of this weekend’s action.

But even if he wasn’t ruled out, Manchester City are facing Liverpool at Anfield, and are unlikely to keep a clean sheet.

Also, the Brazilian isn’t really producing a points return worthy of his price-tag.

Ederson is currently the sixth-best keeper on FPL, with every player above him a fair bit cheaper.

Bournemouth’s Aaron Ramsdale is currently top of the goalkeeper leader-board on FPL, and he would cost you just 4.6.
