FA Cup semi-final draw: Man City & Liverpool curse luck as London Derby teed up

The FA Cup is famous for its regular upsets over the years

The draw for the semi-finals of the FA Cup has this evening been confirmed, with one potential tie in particular having firmly stolen the headlines.

The matchup in question? Manchester City versus Liverpool.

Should Jurgen Klopp's Reds, as expected, get the better of Championship outfit Nottingham Forest later tonight, then they will set up a mouthwatering Wembley showdown with Pep Guardiola's Man City.

This of course comes amid a tense battle for supremacy between the two clubs at the Premier League's summit, with City and Liverpool, as things stand, separated by just a solitary point.

This means that a London Derby awaits on the other side of the final four draw, with Thomas Tuchel's Chelsea, condemned to defeat in last season's tournament showpiece, primed to face off with an impressive up-and-coming Crystal Palace outfit.
