Spurs celebrate vs Rochdale

FA Cup: Chelsea odds crash, Tottenham & Man United big value

FA Cup semifinal draw

The lineup for the FA Cup semifinals was secured on Sunday night.

Chelsea have been drawn against Southampton, while Tottenham were paired with Manchester United.

Tottenham booked their spot in the semis with a comfortable 3-0 win away at Swansea on Saturday.

Man United also advanced after a 2-0 home win over Brighton.

Southampton beat Wigan 2-0 on Sunday to book their spot at Wembley.

Chelsea knocked out Leicester in a 2-1 extra time victory.

FA Cup: Chelsea odds crash

Following the semifinal draw, Chelsea have been installed as the new favourites to win the FA Cup.

Will Hill have price Antonio Conte’s Blues at 13/8 to win the FA Cup.

It’s worth noting that when Chelsea faced Southampton earlier in the Premier League season, the Blues won 1-0 at Stamford Bridge. Marcos Alonso was the match winner on that occasion.

Chelsea have beaten Southampton on their last four meetings.

For the record, Southampton are the outsiders to win the FA Cup, with Mark Hughes’s Saints priced at 9/1.

FA Cup odds: Tottenham & Man United big value

In an interesting reaction from the bookies, Tottenham are shorter odds than Man United to win the FA Cup.

Mauricio Pochettino’s Spurs are 2/1 to win the cup, while Jose Mourinho’s men at 9/4.

One of the reasons Tottenham could be considered favourites against Man United is that their semifinal, and indeed the final, will both be played at Wembley.

Moreover, when Tottenham played Man United at Wembley in the Premier League on January 31, Spurs ran out 2-0 winners.

It’s also true that United beat Tottenham 1-0 in the reverse fixture at Old Trafford back in October.

FA Cup tip: Man United to win at 9/4 with Will Hill.
