MEN Sport believe Manchester United defender Victor Lindelöf could miss the club’s clash with Fulham on Saturday.
The Swedish defender has played every minute of Premier League action since the arrival of Ole Gunnar Solskjær.
Solskjær looks to have therefore handed Lindelöf the chance to rest ahead of Tuesday’s Champions League tie with Paris Saint-Germain.
Lindelöf to be rested vs Fulham
However, MEN Sport claim Lindelöf could still join up with the squad to face Fulham despite not being spotted travelling to London.
The 24-year-old has been in inspired form for the Red Devils over recent weeks.
Given United’s current options at centre-back, Lindelöf’s form has been especially critical for Solskjær’s side.
Although, ahead of a huge week of European action, the defender has been given an opportunity to rest.
Despite a top-four finish looking back on the cards, Solskjær’s priorities look to be on the Champions League.
It has been reported that Lindelöf’s absence is down to him being rested ahead of PSG.
