Everton’s opponents for the Europa League qualifying stages confirmed

Drawing closer

Everton’s opponents for the third Europa League qualifying stage have been confirmed in the form of Slovakian side MFK Ružomberok.

The side faced off against Norweigan side SK Brann in the last round and their tie came to an end on Thursday evening.

MFK Ružomberok won the game 2-1 on aggregate and will travel to Goodison Park next Thursday in an attempt to make the group stages.

Meanwhile, Everton have been preparing for the start of their season with two pre-season wins over FC Twente and Gor Mahia.

The start of their competitive season will come in the form of MFK Ružomberok and they will be looking to comfortably qualify for the next round.

The Toffees will face a play-off game should they advance to the next round and that would secure them a place in the group stage with Arsenal.
