Battle of the contracts
Everton will do battle with Italian giants AC Milan in the January transfer window for one defensive side as both look to move up the table.
Amazingly, both the Toffees and the San Siro were considered the winners of the summer transfer window with some incredible pieces of business.
Everton brought in the likes of Michael Keane, Davy Klaassen, Sandro Ramirez and Jordan Pickford which all looked like coups.
Similar in Milan, AC brought in Andre Silva, Frank Kessie, Nikola Kalinic, Ricardo Rodriguez and more breaking the £100million barrier.
Though, both sides have looked incredibly poor during the current season and are now looking to dip into the transfer market again.
Ronald Koeman lost his job on Merseyside and Vincenzo Montella is in the firing line at the San Siro so both will likely not see the year through.
That hasn’t stopped clubs submitting deals though, with one name up for grabs.
Domagoj Vida is a Croatian defender who will become a free agent on the first day of January and has several suitors.
AC Milan and Everton have reportedly submitted contract offers to the player who will now have to decide between the two sides.
The 28-year-old plays for Dynamo Kyiv and will not be signing a new deal so it will certainly be a free transfer.
That will no doubt bring further suitors though, so the two early movers will no doubt have some competition.
Domagoj Vida dostał oferty z Milanu i Evertonu, kontrakt kończy mu się 31 grudnia, dostał 10 dni na zastanowienie się. W grę wchodzi również Besiktas który chce Domagoja już od dobrego roku.

Everton fail with second move for manager
While the Toffees’ poor form is one of concern, so is their managerial pursuit.
That is because seemingly their first choice target is slipping through their fingers after another rejected approach.
That will now leave the club without many options left and David Unsworth is likely to remain in charge.
