High-reputation trio targeted by Everton
Everton are reportedly keeping an eye on Napoli’s Kalidou Koulibaly, Allan and Arkadiusz Milik ahead of the summer transfer window.
The Toffees have not had a great first campaign under Marco Silva.
The side have impressed at times during the season but are currently in a huge run of poor form.
They have only won one in their last eight Premier League games despite investing heavily in their squad over the summer.
Players such as Richarlison, Lucas Digne and Yerry Mina came in on permanent deals while Kurt Zouma and Andre Gomes joined on loan as the side flexed their newfound financial muscle yet again.
Under Farhad Moshiri, the side have spent an incredible amount of money in each summer transfer window.
Though, after a couple of misfires in the markets prior, there was different expected from Marcel Brands and Silva.
Despite a successful window, it was also not expected that Marco could transform the side in a season.
However, they are already being linked with several big moves next summer which could take them to the next level.
Could Everton attract these players?
That is because reports have linked the side with Napoli’s Kalidou Koulibaly, Allan and Arkadiusz Milik.
Arena Napoli have quoted Radio Marte suggesting Everton are tracking all three ahead of the summer window.
Starting with Koulibaly, the centre-back has become one of the best in his position over the past few years.
He has been linked with moves to the likes of Manchester United and would be an unbelievable coup for Everton.
Allan has also become one of the most impressive holding midfielders in Europe, so much so PSG are interested in a big money move for him.
Finally, Milik has scored 10 goals in 16 appearances for Napoli this season and would go a long way to solving Everton’s attacking woes.
Safe to say, it is extremely unlikely Everton would even be able to sign one of those but should they, it would be huge.
For now, we’ll just have to see if these rumours are revisited in the off-season.
