Everton outcast Kevin Mirallas is set for a move to Fiorentina and a season-long loan deal is expected to be completed within the next 24 hours.
That player comes in the form of Kevin Mirallas who has endured a torrid time at Everton in recent years.
The forward went majorly off the boil around two years ago and became a bench player, leading to frustration from his end.
He then attempted to force through a move to Olympiacos, which he eventually managed to do but ended back at Everton when the Greek club cancelled his loan deal.
Now he’s back at the Toffees and has been given a fair runout during the clubs pre-season games which has seen them only win one time so far.
While he has arguably impressed, Marco Silva and Marcel Brands have decided that he is one of the players that must leave the club and was told to train away from the first team.
Serie A move
Now, that spell as an outcast is set to end with the Belgian close to joining Fiorentina on a season-long loan.
That is Sky Sports who are reporting the news, breaking it in the afternoon on Thursday.
That will be the music to the ears of Everton fans who want to shift the player, but also a great club for Mirallas.
The deal will reportedly only be an option to buy, rather than an obligation so there is still a possibility he ends up at the Toffees again next season.
