Zouma & Everton
Kurt Zouma would spend the 2018/19 season on loan at Everton.
During his stint on Merseyside, Zouma would become a key member of Everton’s backline.
The Frenchman formed a solid partnership with Michael Keane, and went on to appear 36 times for the Toffees.
After his loan stint came to an end, it was reported in June that Everton had opened negotiations with Chelsea over a permanent deal for Zouma.

Marco Silva also stated that he was hopeful of a deal being completed.
Lampard wants Zouma stay
At the moment, though, Zouma is on Chelsea’s pre-season tour, and has so far seemingly impressed new boss Frank Lampard.
As well as praising Zouma, Lampard stated that he wants to keep the defender at Stamford Bridge:
“‘In terms of Kurt Zouma, he’s a very good defender for us, very good player, very good person and professional.
“I want him here, simple as that. We are competitive with the centre-backs we have in the team and he had a very good season at Everton and I can understand why they want him.” As quoted by Sky Sports News.
Reports then began to circulate on Sunday that Zouma had handed in a transfer request.
However, on Monday, Sky Sports News have put a damper on the Zouma situation for Everton fans.
According to Sky, Zouma has not handed in a transfer request with the London-based club.
But the report from Sky does also state that they believe the permanent signing of Zouma is a top priority for Everton this summer.
