January reinforcements or summer move?
Everton and Marco Silva are reportedly eyeing a move for Porto star Yacine Brahimi with his current deal set to expire at the end of the season.
The Toffees have not had a positive first season under Marco Silva.
While his side have had some pretty decent spells during the campaign, they are currently in a very poor run of form.
They have only won one game in their last eight games, coming against Burnley in what was a 5-1 thrashing.
While there are not expected to be too many additions in January, the club have been linked with a few deals.
Wilmar Barrios is the most prominent this week with suggestions Everton could bid for him.
Though, a familiar name has been once again linked with a move to Goodison Park.
Yacine Brahimi to Goodison Park?
That name is Yacine Brahimi who has been linked with a move to the club on several occasions.
He seems to be a regular name linked with Everton and has been for many of the transfer windows over the past three years.
Now, his name has been brought up again.
That is because according to the Mirror, Everton went to watch the player this week and are ‘monitoring’ him.
They watched him score two goals against Nacional on Monday evening.
The report is pretty brief beyond that, explaining that the player is out of contract in the summer.
As a result, they claim he could be available for a cut-price fee in the January transfer window.
Only time will tell if Everton make their move.
