Everton could reportedly make one more signing in the form of Chelsea’s Kurt Zouma after they submitted a deal sheet for a season-long loan.
The club have been one of the busiest clubs on transfer deadline day having moved for several targets.
They completed a move for Bernard first, signing the player on a four-year deal after he left Shakhtar Donetsk at the end of his contract.
That was followed up by confirmation from Barcelona that the club had signed defender Yerry Mina.
The club have been chasing the Colombian since the end of the World Cup and finally sealed that deal.
That wasn’t the end, though.
That is because just a couple of minutes later, Barcelona also announced that Andre Gomes had joined the Toffees on a season-long loan.
Now, even though the transfer window has closed, that might not be the end.
Deal sheet submitted
That is because Everton have submitted a deal sheet to try and complete the signing of Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma.
The Frenchman spent last season on loan at Stoke City and despite him impressing, the side were still relegated.
With little hope of him getting into the starting eleven at Stamford Bridge, Everton moved to sign him on loan.
That was revealed by L’Equipe earlier this afternoon but as the deadline closed, there was little news over a move.
Then, out of nowhere, there were whispers that the Toffees had submitted a deal sheet for a mystery man.
That was later revealed to be Kurt Zouma by the Liverpool Echo’s Phil Kirkbride.
Now, Everton will have until 7pm to complete a deal for the defender.
Don’t go anywhere, Blues!
