Everton contact Juventus over Moise Kean transfer – Di Marzio

Everton building ambitious young team

Everton have reportedly contacted Juventus over a move for promising striker Moise Kean this summer, with the Toffees in the market for a forward.

The Blues are looking to build on last season, when Marco Silva guided them to a seventh-place finish in the Premier League.

Despite a very positive end to the season, Everton are in need of some quality in the striking department.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin is currently their best option up top, having scored eight goals last season.

Cenk Tosun joined the club in January 2018, but has failed to impress during his time at Goodison.

Finally, Oumar Niasse looks very much out of favour at Everton, having spent last season on loan at Cardiff City.

Now, the Toffees are being linked with an ambitious move for Juventus striker Moise Kean.

Would Juventus allow Moise Kean to join Everton?

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Everton have been in contact with Juventus in relation to a potential transfer.

Unfortunately for Toffees’ fans, there’s no information from Di Marzio bar the fact that contact has been made.

It is very unlikely that any move for Kean would be permanent, considering his potential and impressive breakthrough at Juventus.

The 19-year-old scored seven goals in 17 appearances last season.

He also spoke about his love for Juventus recently in an interview with SoccerBible Magazine, as cited by Calcio Mercato, explaining that the Italian side are the best place for him to improve.

“I am sure that at the moment there are no other teams that can help me improve the way Juventus can do it,” he explained.

“I was born here and I almost always wore the black and white jersey.

“Obviously, I don’t know what the future holds, but what’s for sure is that I will always give the maximum.”
