Everton are weighing up a £50million move for Crystal Palace ace Wilfred Zaha as Marco Silva looks to add an attacker to his new-look squad.
The player had his best personal season for Palace in the last campaign scoring 9 goals which proved pivotal in his side staying in the division.
Zaha even missed several weeks through injury but when he returned, he steered Roy Hodgson’s side away from the drop.
Though, those impressive performances have now encouraged the top sides in the league to consider a move for the player.
Zaha once transferred to Manchester United and he was tipped to be the next big thing at Old Trafford.
It didn’t go as planned, however, as he failed to have any impact whatsoever before being loaned back to Palace and eventually returning permanently.
Now that the player has seemingly matured and looks twice the player he was back then, Tottenham, Liverpool and Everton are all considering a move.
Marco Silva’s move
The first club who could make their interest official is Everton with Goal reporting that the club are considering a move for £50million rated Wilfred Zaha.
It’s quite clear that Palace would not want to let the player go and they would hope that their high asking price would put clubs off.
Though, if reports are to be believed then Everton have not been deterred and are considering a move regardless.
Should the Toffees make their move, Tottenham and Liverpool could soon join the race.
Crystal Palace fans will have an eager wait to find out any more information on whether the player could leave.
