‘Growing in confidence’
Everton are confident in securing the signing of Jack Wilshere on a free transfer in the summer as a new deal with Arsenal is no closer to completion.
The Englishman has been offered a new deal at the Emirates but the contract that he has been offered requires a significant pay cut.
The player has struggled with injuries over the past few years and his problems are very much documented.
That has lead to Arsenal wanting a contract that is heavily incentivised, meaning that should he reach a certain amount of games per season, he would get a large bonus.
Though, that requires him to take a £20,000 cut to his basic wage and Wilshere isn’t exactly happy about that and the clubs belief in him.
That has lead to Everton making their move for the player and have supposedly offered him a deal that matches his current Arsenal contract.
Not only that, previous reports have claimed that the club will offer the player a big signing on fee to convince him to join for free.
football.london are reporting that they understand ‘Everton are growing in confidence that they could win the race for Wilshere should he become available.’
Their report also claims that the side believe they can convince the midfielder that their ambition to break the top six is real.
Though, what could stop them from signing the player is the managerial situation.
Football.london claim that Sam Allardyce is a big fan of the player but with his future yet to be decided, Wilshere would need reassurances.
Jack Wilshere has more Premier League yellow cards this season (9) than Premier League goals (8) in his entire career. My word.

Right now, Jack Wilshere is good at fighting and not much else.

Seriously who is still telling me Wilshere is better than Ramsey ??
Some people are deluded by the English hype!

Watford blow: Chelsea, Man United, Everton & Richarlison
Wilshere isn’t the only signing that Everton are looking to complete.
They are also in for Watford’s Richarlison.
Though, the club have two very big sides to compete with.
